I got my first VW Westy from a great friend of mine who agreed to sell it to me providing that I ever sell it I must sell it back to her.  My lovely counterpart, Jane and I camp out in it almost every weekend.  We load up like a band of gypsys and head out.   We just got back from the beach where I quickly learned that it is not my Toyota 4 wheel drive..oops...got stuck ...some nice GI and his girl pulled us out of the sand and we were on the way..ON THE ROAD AGAIN ..as Willie Nelson sings it...we are Real Texas Cosmic Cowboys loving each other and lovin g our VW...I also have a 70 Bug a friend gave me that I need to get running!  Peace! Love! VW's!  Takin git to the beach was a real litmus test of the ol Westy "Big Blue" is her name....I think we are going to try to make it to the Ozarks in the Fall when it cools!
