My problem with the Facet style pumps is their long term reliability in periodically used vehicles. I've had some of them in service that had to be 20+ years old, but have had them fail in little used vehicles (or as replacements to the no more reliable $140 Facet that comes in ONAN generators) in as little as a year or two. Very much YMMV on them, might sit in a bus for 10 years and fire fine, might sit 3 months and have no fuel. Autozone and Advance both sell rotary pumps for the same $45 or so that the Facet's go for, and generally I've had better luck with them. I do think a Facet would keep up fine with dual single barrel's I'm not so sure as John mentions with a sizeable dual, double barrel setup, one would need to check the flow ratings carefully. I still buy the Facet occasionally though, as the last one I bought from NAPA for $55 (AK markup) was multifuel rated and I bought it for a lift pump in my Bobcat as anything else so rated would have set me back $90-100. Anyway, just my random thoughts. I always have good luck with the Faucet, available Napa branded for $40, as well as other suppliers like EMPI and other FLAPS. Some report high-end drop off. If you are pushing it that hard, a rotary pump from the high-end VW suppliers like Chirco is recommended at $90.
