I ran a flaps fuel pressure regulator for years and years and more 
years ( since 1986 with weber progressive). The original fuel pump was 
still working fine with the original diaphram until last December when 
I went over to the dark side with FI.

That fuel pump will be 50 years old in 2 weeks.
