one thing that has confused me a bit, the "flasher" relay does it work both the 4way and the turnsignals?? I was pretty sure it did. and it does work the turn signals correctly. I suspect a "Bad" switch and have taken the old one to the workshop and rebuilt it to "like new" state but temps are just too hot to go out there and work on it, unfortunately it is parked in the sun and there is no shady place to work "under a tree" (shadetree mechanic I'm not) on major long projects, dropping engine to do something etc I have rigged a tarp over the van for shade and set up fans. but for replacing a switch? thanks Bob On Tue, 9 Jul 2013, David Kelly wrote: > Are you sure your four way switch or your flasher was not damaged? Do you have known good ones to swap them with? All I know is to double check your wiring diagram and wiggle every connection to make sure they are good. Did you miss a ground wire by chance? I hate these issues too. They are usually the least obvious and sometimes things start working again and you don't even know why only to fail again in the middle of nowhere. The only other thing i would recommend is bench test the flasher before you swap or you might fry the known good one. Been there, done that. Good Luck! >
