I like empirical data... so I'll go with the silver,, and jon indicates "Our 
experience has also shown that a second layer, spaced 6 inches down
inside, nets an additional 10 degrees temp drop."
I was thinking of doing this with a layer of bubble wrap.. but decided to 
just pick places with a pool or creek on hot hot hot days!! .. no more 
ashphalt parking lot car shows for me!
