[T2] gas gauge

Hello all, 
 
I need some help with my gas gauge, when I fill up it only goes up to half-way.  I replaced my sending unit before I even knew this was an issue.  Is it the gauge itself or another problem.  Any advice would be helpful.  Thanks!
