[T2] gas gauge

there is a little nub sticking out of the back of the vibrator that can be turned clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the gauge.  It looks like the end of a flat-head screwdriver sticking out of the back of the vibrator near the electrical connections.   It also usually has some goop around it to protect it from moving.  I've adjusted many of  them using this nub.  gt

you need to adjust the sending unit. there are two tabs you have to bend to
adjust where the swing is at.
