[T2] rear brake light question

Hmm, someone somewhere else said it sounded like a grounding issue. I'm
beginning to wonder whether I'm misunderstanding what happens at the
connection of the right bulb. It has two prongs that connect to two
positive wires (incoming and outgoing) and to the two contact points on the
bulb. I was thinking the circuit would be the same if both positives were
connected to one prong as it would be if they were connected to separate
prongs, connected to each other through the bulb (that the bulb is just a
conduit)... but perhaps this isn't correct? There isn't a ground from that
connection (it's made elsewhere in the circuit). Hmm, just trying to think
through it (and possibly correct my bad assumptions).
