The metal gasket is the problem, I'm afraid. I have had best luck with a paper gasket. I tried gascacinch as a sealer, but it hasn't worked well for me. Surprisingly, I've gotten the best results on the intake manifold just coating both sides of the paper gasket with chapstick. Makes removal and cleanup easier if you must disassemble in the future, too. Scott B 74 Bus
