I replaced the old KYB gas shocks with the much-praised Konis available from The Bus Depot. Given their cost, I'm not yet convinced it was a wise investment: there's significantly more body lean in curves and steering is less steady when being passed by semis on the highway. Yet, they only provide a *slightly* more comfortable ride in regular city driving. I will adjust them for a firmer ride when I return to California next summer. I'm not sure though if I should adjust all four of them or just the front or just the rear. If anybody has more extensive experience with them, please tell. I should point out that the bus is also equipped with reinforced front sway bars as well as as rear sway bars. Cheers, Sami '75 Westy
