I used Pioneers in my busses in the past with no daylight problems aside from the fact that ANY display will kinda suck in the location they gave us in a bus. I currently have a Pioneer DEH-9400 in my Saab with a qi enabled pocket so I can just drop my phone in there and it charges. No cords, just drop the phone in, Bluetooth connects, phone charges, and I'm Pandora-ing or Hello Internet podcasting. But the Saab of course is double-din, hence the pocket. Another thing I like about the Pioneer is the OLED display has a wide range of colors, so you can green it or amber it or white it. Whatever works best in your vehicle.
