Feb 14-17 Valentine's Day / Presidents Weekend at Lower Ft. Flagler State
Park

Fort Flagler State Park 10541 Flagler Rd Nordland, WA 98358

The Wetwesties and Cascade Kombi's invite all VW lovers to a unique
campsite - opened for the first winter camping this year.

This is the "lower campsite" - turn left at the stop sign and go to the end
of the road.
You'll see a flat peninsula camping area with the beach on Puget Sound -
with Port Townsend just across the water.
This is a NO Reservation / First Come area until May with both utility or
basic sites,

All are welcome to stay Sunday night for a President's Day potluck
breakfast - bring something to share if you want to eat.

Distance is 58 miles from Seattle - take the Edmonds- Kingston Ferry or any
Seattle Ferry - or - cross the Tacoma Narrow Bridge and drive 74 miles.

Fort Flagler State Park is a 784-acre marine camping park surrounded on
three sides by 19,100 feet of saltwater shoreline. The park rests on a high
bluff overlooking Puget Sound, with views of the Olympic and Cascade
Mountains. Many hiking trails lead to historic buildings remain at this
19th-century-established military fort. A cool place to bring the kids.

If you like to sit by a warm fire help us all and bring firewood. The site
is somewhat exposed so bring warm clothes.

Potluck location will be decided when we get there.
I suggest taking advantage of the utility sites and bring a crockpot for an
easy meal.
