1800 watts divided by 12v = 150 amps draw out of the battery- you look up the wiring diameter for that! Even with engine running, a 55amp alternator will not be charging anything under that load. A 2 battery set of 6v 100 AH in series will allow 200 amp hours theoretical, practically (for battery life), 100 amp hr at 50% allowed drawdown- that is one hr at 100 amps, or enough to run your microwave about 1/2 hr!
