On my '75 Westy, when I switched from the stock reinforced 185R14 to D-load rated 205/65R15 tires, I also increased the tire pressure from 30 psi in the front and 40 psi in the rear, as per silver sticker, to 38 and 52 respectively. I mostly went by feel: specifically, I added enough pressure to the front to get almost the same steering effort as stock, then increased the rear proportionately. (Note that the maximal pressure allowed by the tire manufacturer was 40 psi for the original tire and 65 for the larger one.) Anyone care to share their experiences with similar upgrade?
