[T2] Front vw bus emblem

Does anyone know any tricks to attaching clips to mount front emblem on my 68 bus? The clips go between the front of bus and the heater/vent box and my big hands can't really reach up to attach them. With long pliers I can get the lowrr ones on but not tight, i can't seem to reach the upper two clips at all.....
