Hi, The second project for my annual back-to-my-bus California trip is to do something about the unsteady timing. My take is that the distributor on the '75 bus will either need to be replaced, or if at all possible, be rebuilt. I found new, so-called SVDA dizzies online, but would rather keep the original dual-vacuum advance distributor. Am I correct to assume that unsteady timing is due to worn bushings? If so, can those be replaced and can I do that myself without a press. (I do have a hammer and a crowbar, though :) TIA, Sami
