Thanks for the link-I could not find that part. The thing I need is 211 953 513-k. Now that I see it is available, I may try the solder option. I was worried about trying that, and boogering it up worse, and then not having any options. Anyone with experience with the OEM vs. Reproduction on this part? -Kevin Guarnotta Jamaica Plain, MA ’78 Westy '69 Singlecab '65 Ez-camper From: Old Volks Home [mailto:oldvolkshome at gmail.com] If you're talking about the Horn Contact Ring on the steering wheel, Airhead/VWG has been making these for over a decade http://www.airheadparts.com/vintage-vw-parts/horn-ring/horn-contact-turn-signal-cancel-ring-113415660-a The brass tab that contacts the ring on the Turn Signal Assy is riveted. Might be repairable or you have to get a new switch. http://www.airheadparts.com/vintage-vw-parts/turn-signal-switch-lever-control/switch-turn-signal-lever-211953513-k
