[T2] front cot & seats?

I was also just trying out my front cot - that is supposed to fit over the
front seats. The head rests appear to get in the way. I don't see a way to
remove them, and I'm wondering if the head rests were standard on a '78
westy? Maybe a previous owner swapped the seats? Or maybe I'm doing
something wrong?
