Hi Volks, This weekend I decided it was past due to replace the front beam on my westfakia. Tire wear and steering irregularities finally escalated the priority of this task such that it could be avoided no longer. Friday I was able to remove the beam. It was in much worse shape than I had expected, with large holes rusted through the driver's side stanchion. On Saturday I got the replacement beam installed, but as of this moment I have yet to complete the reattachment of the e-brake, the shift linkage and the brake booster. When the booster was removed I couldn't help but notice there were some loose parts rattling around inside it. I carefully removed them and I cannot quite figure out where the clip fits. I posted a pic of the booster here: http://www.pottsfamily.ca/pottsfamily/wordpress/?p=72 Any guidance on how this goes back together would be greatly appreciated! Happy trails, Greg Potts 197x Westfakia "Bob the Tomato" www.pottsfamily.ca www.busesofthecorn.com
