Well let me offer the right one. Snap-On as well as all the other major tool 
manufactures make a tool called, a "Drag link" adjuster. It is basically a 
large screw driver blade, with a 3/8 drive on the other end. The actual 
Volkswagen tool was just the same, but I'm sure it went out of production 
when wooden spokes fell by the way side.
