71 type 2, westy. The inside release lever inside will not always open the drivers door, and my shoulder is getting bruised shoving it. The outside lever is fine. So Current solution is to open the window and use outside lever! I have had the panel off and it does not seem to be a stretched pull rod. Some years back i fixed those little springs inside the door lock as per this great link. Both doors http://type2.com/rvanness/lock.htm Not easy to get at lock but worth the effort. They worked well after that (the key would not open if the trigger had been touched). I took the lock apart again to try to fix this new problem, but could not see anything obvious, except wear. Anyone know of some adjustment or do i need to replace the lock? Would i need a new lock, seeing as wear may be the problem? Hope some one has ideas Many thanks John 71 westy in Los Angeles
