[T2] 1971 bus turn signal and generator.

Loose turn signal: 
We just fixed this, courtesy of reply by Eric. On this group. He suggested  loosening it, then wrapping tape around the stem . I think we used duct tape or a bit if thin rubber Bike inner tube, whatever, it worked. Measure the exact place on the stem, i think gap is 1/8th on our 71, or the indicators wont cancel.

The turn signal housing slides up and down when I put turn signal on. The screws are tight. How do I fix this?

Also, is it possible to remove the generator without pulling the engine. The weather around here is awful. We've been getting some sort of precipitation about every other day and I have to work in the driveway.
