[T2] Engine In Generator Removal

It's a somewhat PITA job...  Not only is it easier to yank the motor, but you can clean out all the bird and mice nest crud from the doghouse while you're there.  Plus, if you've ever tried to retorque that stupid 36mm bolt engine in, you'll likely have spent more time futzing with that than it would have to pull the mill (I finally torqued it from the back (pulley) side, with a second socket on a breaker bar holding it in place).  And then you still have that mouse nest lodged in your tin next to the oil cooler.  Oh yeah, don't drop the darned key...
On reassembly - the most important thing on reassembly is to (a) get all the shims (including the lockwasher) back on there, and (b) the tightening torque for the 36mm bolt holding it on is 40 foot pounds.  Good luck getting the torque wrench back there.  And not losing the woodruff key.  Or having it slide off.
Good luck!
