Hi Ric, Just for future reference, the only external adjustments you can do, only affect idle quality. Once the carburetor is "off idle" all mixture is controlled by size of the Jet, Venturi, and air gap at the Throttle Plate. A set amount of air is drawn into the engine, past that gap in the throttle plate (adjusted at idle speed screw), when you turn the mixture screw on the outside of the carburetor, you add or reduce fuel to that air intake, adjusting the idle mixture. but once you put your foot on the "gas" (that idle circuit is by-passed), and there is no external adjustment to the main "power circuit"! By the way, the perfect fuel mixture is: 14.7 to 1.0 (atmospheric pressure oddly enough) 14.7 parts air to 1.0 part fuel. Enjoy! Skipper >Subject: Re: [T2] Carb adjustment help
