You would have to take the pin out from the door limiter (or whatever it's called) and then you can fit that part there too. Yes, you would need to brush the door seal glue in there, which you get from any auto body supplier. The one I was using last was black and it dries pretty fast, so I was doing the corners first and then the rest. Just watch not to smear it all over where it does not belong. Need to wipe it off with Goof Off, from Home Depot.
