sure - all of my 1600 powered buses could hit 80 - well, the '66 didnt
on the stock final drive - but with the 4.12 it's can.

that's pretty much valve float though.

mind you, most of the 1600's out there are horribly out of tune and
usually very unbalanced with a low  CR (low for a stock motor, that
is.)

oh, and not everyone - even bus pilots - are good at momentum conservation.
