From: "david raistrick" To: "Bob carroll" <accessys at smart.net> > napa or a truck part house would be > my best thought. if it's short, ~3/4 heater hose might do in a > pinch, even though it might collapse a bit... From: <accessys at smart.net> > several days of searching and have not found one on-line. anyone know who > might have the hose. several days?? !! man! ,, i am still on rural dial up service, lol,, I hit google for " 3/4" vacuum hose line " results ,, About 1,040,000 results (0.34 seconds) if you must order online.. here is one I found in POINT 34 seconds!!! <eyes wide open speed> http://www.hiperformancestore.com/hosebyfoot.htm but locally,, Tractor Supply Company stores carry assortments... as do farm dealers, etc.. we have hydralic hose supply places that have everything hose.. and I would guess that some car dealers,, or hot rod shops have brake booster line that might suffice.. hint , if you can't find a vac line per se ... try a rubber hose.... if it does collapes... fit a spring inside to allow it to bend, and not collapse.. after a small fire.. I was offered a clear tube from an aquarium supply, a fellow camper just happened to be transporting.. it was sort of less flexible, and thin walled,, but it fit the ends well,, and I had a smaller hose that fit inside to keep it from kinking if the hose kinks when bent in a short tight bend... use 3ft and route it halfway around the engine compartment in a loop..
