I would also change the oil and filter - after 4 years,  even if it looks "OK", it could be broken down, have fuel or water contamination, etc...  and the filter may well have been on it for 100K miles, even IF the oil looks "pristine"...
I bought a '71 Honda 450 once, much like your bus...  sat for a few years, all looked great, changed the plugs, put fresh gas in the tank, charged the battery, fired right up...  30 seconds later, as it warmed up, tikka tikka tikka went the motor.  I then drained the watery, gasoline-inundated oil, and realized that you never know until you know.
I was thinking also, *if* you can get to the Gauge Sender on top of the tank without too much issue, take it off and look inside the tank for rust and crud on the bottom.  If you have major league rust and scale, you'll be fighting clogged everything for a long time - much easier to drop the tank and have it boiled (radiator shops usually will do this).
And one other thing - change the fan belt.  Double check the electrical connections throughout.  Look for mice nests/etc. in your heater/cooling system (my 71 Type 1 had a nest next to the oil cooler - bleah - and my '77 westy had a dead rodent in the line from the heater boxes to the front of the bus...).  and make sure your shift linkage tube anchor nut (under the trapdoor in the floor) is tight.
Drive her easy for a while until she gets used to the idea of being brought back to life, and then have fun!!!!!
