must have gotten enough brownie points helping the new guy this morning. went out and went over everything with bright flashlight. found an injector connector off (wouldn't have kept it from running) took off airclearen/AFM checked hoses and wires under there. retightened hoses on S boot cut off the end of one of the tiny vacuum hoses and reseated it. hit starter and it almost immediately fired up did a rough timing set. and then let in run at various rpm for 15 minutes.. did an oil change and drove it a very short distance. just to say it MOVED! shade tree mechanic I am not, not a lick of shade anywhere so was forced in by the heat. am tied up all weekend and supposed to rain again next mon-tue-wed. sheesh the bus will mildew it is so damp it probably will need the hyd lifters reset after they have built up presure. and get the timing light on it to get it dialed in. and a bunch of little things but it is in known territory. A HUGE THANKS to all who helped. several of the suggestions when put together were the key. thanks all Bob (now to fix all the other stuff that is on the list. never ending story)
