Hi Tom, Ya, I know about loose confusing wires. I replaced the voltage regulator today with no change. So I'm placing all my hopes on this mysterious loose wire. I'll keep you updated. Thanks again for the suggestions. Bob Pratt > On May 12, 2015, at 11:45 PM, Avocado Tom Tarka <avocadotom at gmail.com> wrote: > > Bob, > > It could have been, but I can't recall. The PO really butchered the harness under the dashboard. The GEN light came on suddenly as I was driving down the street. I put a tester on the battery while the engine running.
