Vent was a small hole somewhere near top of where nose cone part attaches to the rest. Jon told me he's heard of the bushing leaking that the trans shifting shaft goes through, but wehen I cleaned it up to check where; it stopped. The wet location implies the vent hole, not right where the shift coupling attaches.
