[T2] AFM cleaning

I gather some of the nooer T2 engines have fuel injection, incl an air-flow
meter.  For those owners who have this type of fuel supply, this URL could

      I refuse to believe an expensive pressure can is necessary for the
cleaning process depicted.  Couldn't a cotton bud gently apply a suitable
liquid?  What is that liquid?  Ethanol?
