[T2] Valve cover gaskets

I went out to the bus early this morning cleaned up both mating surfaces. The gasket was a bit warped so it wouldn't seat right. I got it strengthened out and put back on. I I wiggled it around a bit to make sure it was seated and flipped the bale back in place.
No more leaks. I bought another case of oil Just In Case. If I don't use the oil on the way home, I can use it at home.
Thanks for all your helpful suggestions. They really helped! You guys gave some peace of mind being so far from home!

Or you can use the silicone gasket sealer which holds the gasket in place semi-permanently. My bus was done this way by the engine builder 12 years ago and at least 6 or 7 valve adjustments later and no leaks.
