[T2] Binding Clutch

’70 bus
Replaced clutch with diaphragm assembly and new throw-out 15 years ago.
Replaced cable 3 years ago.
Shifting became difficult causing frequent tightening of cable.
Cable is now full tight (minimal free play) with full travel of throw-out
arm, but clutch will not completely disengage.
Must be diaphragm fingers are bending, or some other internal problem.
Any other thoughts on the subject.
