Hi all,
First, thanks for all, thanks for all the suggestions for the my recent carburetor problem.
I had to pull the carb again as the same problem resurfaced, just not as bad. I think the diaphragm in the acceleration had a pin hole in it.
This time I pulled the thing apart, dropped it into a container of carb cleaner, and let it soak overnight. This morning I scrubbed the body and replaced all the rubber and anything else that was in the rebuild kit.
I put it back together and reinstalled it. I did notice notice that either the flange on the manifold or the bottom of the carb is not perfectly flat. Anyway I replaced all the gaskets and hooked up everything. After the carb filled up with gas he fired up and at the moment running good.
