[T2] 2nd Gear Problems

I ordered the shifter bushings - thanks for pointing out they come split. I was able to insert one in the rear.

The other ones are not possible to install without taking the engine and tranny out - as you all have pointed out to me. Thanks.

I used some blue Loctite on the securing bolts that hold the shifting rods together. I believe that is what was used originally, based on the blue color on the threads of the screw I removed.

Seems to be shifting ok. Now while under there, I see some rust I may address, and might try to figure that heat diverter thing out.
