I bought it in 1964 and have often regretted selling it (1969), if only because of its v high quality. The only serious design fault was the inadequate front brakes, which were not upgraded to disc until my current bus (1973). If I'd kept the '57 it would probably by now have retrofitted discs, not to mention a 1600dp motor with of course water injection (est bhp 55). There might even be a small blue gas bottle somewheres ... In celebrating der BulliBurst, I can't help thinking of the extremely regrettable BulliBust, when the last factory shut down. Does anyone know what happened to the actual machinery of that last production line (Brazil)? Has anyone experienced their ethanol-burning version with 16:1 compression ratio?
