Yeah, I bought a Vintage Speed muffler too. Looks nice. Sounds nice. The fit is a little tight on my 64 and the paint on the engine skirt started to bubble. So I bent the skirt out slightly and fitted some NASA insulation between the skirt and the muffler. Problem solved.
