Hi list: I am (hopefully) finishing the refresh of my 73 type 4 engine this week. Some of the last details are include replacing the worn or missing rubber grommets. Anybody know of a source for grommets for a type 4 engine? I was looking at Grainger and some other sources. It is probably possible to get the grommets, but most come in packs of 20 or 25. Suggestions appreciated. My $.02 on reinstalling the engine and trans as a unit or separately: If you have two hydraulic jacks and are young and flexible go with the unit approach. Either way is a challenge for an old fat guy :) Thanks -- Dave Gillingham, Owner/Broker License # 01184185 o: (619) 435-0145 e: dave at coronado-realty.com <natalie at coronado-realty.com> a: 1111 9th St #202, Coronado, CA 92118
