WRT the flex plate bolts: Several of those type 2 or vangaon or VW dismantlers that advertise in theSamba should be able to help you. Bryan Wilson in OK or Jan Blair in Phoenix. I'm sure they would send you several for $10. Dealt with both those guys and very happy from the experience.
