Erik, Bentley says to position the steering wheel in the straight ahead position with the spokes at 9:00 and 15:00 with the cancel flange on the left side with the turn switch. That is how I set it up. And yes the turn signal switch will latch if the flange is not facing the switch ie on the right hand side with the ignition lock. This would work a little weird as the turn switch should cancel as the steering wheel returns to center. When the rain stops (I'm in the Los Angeles area) I'll try raising and lowering the TS switch and see if that helps. Bentley says there should be a 2-3mm space between the steering wheel and the top of the TS switch assembly. I could use a photo of the fuse box and how the wiring routes out the top to the ignition and TS assembly etc.... No hurry. I'm getting ready to go to the OCTO show in Long Beach this weekend with my 64 double door.
