yes there is a clip on the other side.
pry up at the screw point.
depends on how long it has been since last removed it can Rust freeze 
itself.  also they have been times when something gets caught in there.

wiggle, pry, wiggle, pry repeat ad nauseum

unfortunately the chrome ring can break easily, have done it
