Wow. All those ponies in a 71!. All I have is a punky 1914. A lot of work putting that Suby into the back. Wonder what the bill of materials looks like. I would enjoy a smoother running and quieter engine in my VW's. Nice video. Andy, I'm sure you know that in a 71 there are no CARB requirements. No paperwork needed. Look up my post on The Samba in the Split Bus forum for "Improved Brakes" Cheers, Chris On Sat, Sep 21, 2019 at 9:15 PM Robert Mann <robtmann7 at gmail.com> wrote: > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFeEBloo5jc > > One like this was created by a listee who had to sell c. 8 y ago ... > > My guess is the suspension would be OK; the brakes would have to be > maintained in top order (and of course post-1973 when discs belatedly were > installed by the factory). > > Robt Mann > '73 1600dp Devon camper > _______________________________________________ > type2 mailing list > type2 at type2.com > https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo
