[VB] two questions SP into DP bus

Scenario: Putting the SP engine from the 69 into the 71. I had planned on
putting a fitting under the carb for a vacuum source for the brake booster,
but noted today that there is already a nipple I had not noticed before on
the left side on the intake manifold.

#1  Is there any reason not to use this for the brake booster?

#2  Why is the nipple there in the first place?
