[VB] Update on Jim Thompson

Folks,

Here's an update on Jim's situation.

On March 4th, Jim was kicked to the curb by Anthem Blue Cross of Calif and sent home from the Rehab facility. They refused to pay for the recommended rehab duration.

So Jim is at home now and getting help from a visiting nurse and in a few days at home rehab should start.

Also he has located an unlicensed care giver to help with bathing, meal preparation and such once or twice a week.

But that an expense out of Jim’s pocket.

He is currently wheelchair bound for at least a few more weeks until the foot heals more.

Hopefully at that time he can graduate to a walker or maybe some sort of Prosthetic device. 

Jim feels it will likely be another couple of months before he will be able to get around enough to possibly return to work.

Hoping he still has a job available.

In the mean time the biggest concern is to be able to pay the day to day expenses .. rent, utilities etc.

So Jim could still use help.
