I have probably forgotten to say this -but THANKS to all of you for your suggestions, and prompt responses. 

I think I can give it a few more hours tomorrow, then I may have to bring it to my local mechanic. Hopefully it is something minor. 
I'll review all of your suggestions, then sleep on it, and see what I can try tomorrow.
