Hi Guys, I am trying to get the jack tie down that goes under the passenger seat of my '69 single cab back to original. There is part of a bracket welded down under the seat. Then there is a clip that sort of clisp on the top. I was able to fins one of these. But I think I am still missing a piece. I don't have a picture of this, so not sure exactly what it is I'm looking for - but any ideas or suggestions appreciated. By the way, I had a 2nd dashboard from another VW guy. It had been sitting in my basement for many years. I took it out - it was a bit rusty, but only has one crack, as opposed to the original one, that had numerous cracks in it. I sanded this down, put some master series on the rust, and am in the process of painting it satin black. It looks nice like this. I think semi-gloss would be too glossy, so I'm going to go with satin. I'm going to take the vin plate off the other dash, and put it onto this one. Thanks. -Kevin Guarnotta Guarnotta Design + Build Formerly unKilo 138 Chestnut Ave. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 tel. 617 290 6573 www.GuarnottaDesign.com<http://www.GuarnottaDesign.com>
