Wow â that is super helpful. I thought there was another part, I guess I just am supposed to pull that upper piece over the lower piece. I didnât realize that. I thought something held them together. I am also realizing I may need that lower bumper piece as well. These long extended projects really stretch my brain for keeping track of things! Maybe I have it around here somewhere it one of my boxes of parts. -Kevin Guarnotta Jamaica Plain, MA â78 Westy '69 Singlecab '65 Ez-camper From: Erik Burtis <ewdb92 at gmail.com> Sent: Friday, March 23, 2018 1:01 PM To: Kevin Guarnotta <kevin at guarnottadesign.com> Cc: type 2 <type2 at type2.com>; vintagebus at type2.com Subject: Re: [T2] Jack tie down? + dashboards Kevin, Not sure if the bracket in your '69 is the same as my '71, but here are links to some pictures of mine. It's only two parts, welded in bottom and clip top. https://zerotosixtyeventually.files.wordpress.com/2017/02/jack-clamp-2-copy.jpg https://zerotosixtyeventually.files.wordpress.com/2017/02/jack-clamp-3-copy.jpg https://zerotosixtyeventually.files.wordpress.com/2017/02/jack-clamp-1-copy.jpg https://zerotosixtyeventually.files.wordpress.com/2017/02/jack-clamp-4-copy.jpg Hope they help.
