In poking around on The Samba, I saw a reference to maybe the vents on a splitty are not large enough to support the dog house size fan. 1960 walk thru panel camper conversion, running a SP 1641cc engine with CW crank, 7.1 CR, largest DH fan in modified DH fan shroud with type 4 cooler, and 356 gen pulley for even more fan RPM, runs nice and cool @ 3,000 cruising RPM @ 60 MPH. Keeps well below 220F most of the time, might just get to 220F in 90-100F weather for a brief moment when pulling up a short steep hill in fourth.E&B
