Squeaking-- Smile. Imo your hearing is too good. Other:- what time are you lot getting to Bbtb. Thursday afternoon all spots had gone except up the hill. Wish I were going. Maybe .... John and I will camp out on blm land past the airport, a fav pre-event spot for many buses. And quieter. Actually I'd like to hunt down the sandhill cranes nr Needles. Btw we enjoyed the blm place you recommended , last in Ca before Parker. It was very peaceful. Did it on way back. - - Olive On Jan 8, 2020, at 12:00 PM, vintagebus-request at type2.com wrote: Send vintagebus mailing list submissions to vintagebus at type2.com To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://www.type2.com/lists/vintagebus/listinfo or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to vintagebus-request at type2.com You can reach the person managing the list at vintagebus-owner at type2.com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of vintagebus digest..." I disassembled the passenger side suspension including the trailing arms. Nothing to indicate what is squeaking. All the bearings were clean and smooth. I disassembled the driver side as far as removing the king pin assembly. Again nothing to indicate what is squeaking. I put it all back together making sure that everything is well greased. No joy. the squeak persists whenever I drive through a dip that makes the suspension make a good excursion. I crawled under the bus and got a buddy to bounce the bus for a while. I could not hear any squeaks. I'm stumped. Any suggestions? I did not lube the stabilizer bar rubber bushings. Maybe? Tomorrow I'll squirt some WD-40 into those.
